Her doctorate was awarded in 2020 at UGA. She was hired as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Geoarchaeology Laboratory in July, 2022 after serving as a Visiting Instructor at Georgia Southern University. She has led offshore research cruises and supervised undergraduate laboratory personnel.
