Image: In April 2023, diving inspection of erosional features yielded an important discovery in the form of in situ trees - saplings -together with sub-fossil animal bone excavated adjacent to one of the small trees. Current work on the find includes wood identification of the trees after freeze drying to remove water from the wood.
